Abacus function IRM: Inventory, Reports, Movement

Description

Abacus does not maintain an inventory movement file. This function reports inventory movements for a given period of time. The information presented in this report is compiled from a number of files maintained by Abacus, and gives you that detailed inventory movement information that you have always needed but never been able to get you hands on. Here it is - another fine LAS Windows function for Abacus II:

Criteria for the data reported is highly configureable.

Inventory selection help

Each inventory entry field has a "folder" icon to the right of the field. When you click the "folder" icon a "Select Part" window will pop up from which you can select the desired part from a list of parts that it will display. There are two tabs on this window: 1) Part Codes, and 2) Lookup by Vendor. The QUICK keys work as in Abacus: just start typing the first few characters of the desired code and the browse will immediately move to the closest matching inventory item.

Lookup by Vendor

If you wish to lookup a part by vendor, select the desired vendor from the drop-down list.

As with all LAS utilities, the Inventory Movement Report has a complete help file that is automatically installed into Abacus. Just press the F1 key and you've got help.
