Year-To-Date Update (Beta)

Description

This Windows 9x/NT utility fixes a management information problem in Abacus that is impossible to avoid: Unless you can "cut-off" your year end on the first business day of the new month, your year-to-date customer sales and vendor purchases information in Abacus will be incorrect. In fact, even after a year-end close this information will be wrong if not done on the following day. This little gem will correct your YTD information at any time of any day of any year.

Program

This shows the screen about to perform the calculations. Once you run the calculations you can then print the report and perform the actual update to your data. The update function does the corrections automatically, or you could manually edit each customer and vendor record based on the report if you need to find something to keep you busy for the next few days.

Report

The report is comprised of one or more detail pages, followed by a summary page. Such a summary page is shown in the Screen Shot link.
